To promote the podcast's release, I launched a 7-day social media campaign on Instagram and TikTok. I use Adobe Express to schedule and plan my posts on Instagram and TikTok. For Instagram, I create drafts on Adobe Express and manually upload the posts due to technical difficulties. For TikTok, most of the posts were pre-scheduled using Adobe Express, with the exception of stories and image-based posts. I aimed to post on Instagram and cross-post on TikTok between 3-5 pm because research has shown that 3 pm was the best time to post on Instagram (Lang, 2025). Since my launch date for my podcast was on May 22nd, my schedule post began on the 15th and ended on the 22nd. Here is my Adobe Express editorial calendar showcasing my post drafts and scheduled posts:
The target demographic of my campaign is people between the ages of 18-30 in the U.S. The current objective of my campaign is to reach those who are interested in learning about the current state of immigration in the U.S. To achieve this, my posts on Instagram and TikTok were created to promote my podcasts and inform others on current immigration news and resources on ways to help. With the release of my podcast, I hope to inform and inspire my audiences to action.

Overall, posting on Instagram and TikTok was similar. However, image gallery posts that were uploaded on Instagram, such as the May 17th post, had to be edited together into a video for TikTok. Furthermore, stories on TikTok disappeared forever from the social media page, unlike the stories on Instagram. Inspiration for the posts from my social media campaign came from the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC). Analyzing how often they posted and the content in their posts influenced the direction of the campaign. I decided to utilize industry knowledge to draw people's attention to the topic of immigration and online databases.
